Your Baby: Week 19 Vernix caseosa, a greasy white substance made of lanugo, oil and dead skin cells (yum) now coats baby's skin, shielding it from the amniotic fluid. (Picture yourself after a nine-month bath, and the need for protection makes sense.) You might actually get to see the vernix at birth, especially if baby is premature.

How far along? 19 1/2 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 7ish lbs, but that's after a week of terrible constipation. Fun fun.
Maternity clothes? Here and there.
Sleep: Either really well or not at all. Meh.
Best moment this week: Made a lot of progress on the nursery this weekend. Yay! Thankful for my very motivated baby daddy.
Movement: Little one is pretty active these days.
Food cravings: Frozen yogurt with granola, fresh fruit, and mochi from Froyo Love in San Marcos. Yummm.
Gender: Boy :o)
Labor Signs: Nope.Belly Button in or out? Still in.
What I miss: Some of my favorite jammy pants are getting uncomfortable tight. Boo.
What I am looking forward to: The crib should be delivered this week, yay!
Weekly Wisdom: Drink more water.
Milestones: Found out a very special friend is expecting. So excited to share this experience with her. ♥
